Popular Drinks

We find that our extensive wine list is always a hit with our guests.  It showcases a fabulous range of New Zealand wines from a glass of 2005 Whither Hills Sauvignon Blanc or a 2001 Chard Farm Red Gate Pinot Noir. 

Recipes

Kiwi Ora

Ingredients:
45 mls 42 Below Feijoa vodka
10mls gomme or sugar syrup
3 wedges of lime
Half a kiwifruit, peeled
Slice of kiwifruit garnish

Glass: Rocks

Method:
Peel the kiwifruit, and chop finely. 
In a shaker muddle the pulp together with the limes, and add sugar and vodka.
Fill with ice and shake like a crazy bugger.
Pour into a rocks glass, and garnish with a slice of kiwifruit.

This is a Feijoa and Kiwifruit Caipiroska, named with a tongue-in-cheek nod at New Zealand’s national greeting.
