“Hi I’m Jonathan Beattie. I’m the new Executive Chef at the Duxton Hotel Okawa Bay Rotorua. Some of you will already know me as I’ve previously worked in the Duxton Hotel Auckland for 4.5 years as Chef de Partie and then Sous Chef. After that I went to work in a Melbourne Italian Restaurant, then came back and worked for Dine – by Peter Gordon. Here I am now back with the Duxton team and really looking forward to the challenge of being an Executive Chef for the first time.”
“Hi I’m Amanda Johnston. I’m the new F&B Manager at the Duxton Hotel Okawa Bay Rotorua. After initially studying hospitality in Rotorua I have again returned to the area. I have spent the last few years in various locations and traveling, most recently Church Road Winery in Napier. I have worked in a variety of places including cruise ships, casinos and luxury lodges such as Huka Lodge. I am looking forward to a great summer or excellent service and experiences at Okawa Bay.”
